A NIGHT WITH THE ARTS

The MLK Commemorative Commission of Greater Knoxville hosts a “Night of the Arts” during the MLK week of activities as a tribute to Dr. King and this year’s program features original productions written exclusively for the MLK commemorative events. The program is open to the public without charge.
A new piece being performed is entitled “IT’S UP TO US” and consist of a series of musical skits and performances that include dance, song, and drama. “IT’S UP TO US” will encompass an overarching message that “We hold the KEY if change is to come!” The piece will inspire all to incorporate these concepts into their various lives and will be the start of something enriching to our community as a whole.
